Mini Bus Driver
South Yorkshire based FE College
Temporary Sick Cover
Variable hours available - FT or PT (to be discussed based on availability).
£14-16 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

    • Drive College vehicles safely and professionally, transporting students, staff and visitors as required.
    • Support and promote the College Transport Service, ensuring a reliable and customer-focused experience.
    • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
    • Ensure the safety, wellbeing and comfort of all passengers at all times.
    • Maintain accurate records relating to journeys, vehicle usage and inspections.
    • Work collaboratively with the Facilities and Transport team to support the wider needs of the College.
    • Deliver excellent customer service and contribute to a positive student experience.
    • Adhere to all relevant road traffic legislation, College policies, safeguarding requirements and health and safety procedures.
    • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade of the post.

Must have:

  • Current PCV Licence with a minimum of three years' driving experience.
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and visitors.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and operational requirements.
  • Commitment to providing a safe, positive and learner-centred environment.
  • Hold a DBS on the update service (and be willing to complete any outstanding compliance checks).
